Materials
Most swimwear is made from nylon, polyester, or lycra, which contribute to microplastic pollution. We use Repreve and Econyl.

Our printed pieces are made with 86% Recycled Nylon (Repreve) and 14% Elastane, while our solid styles use 78% Recycled Nylon (Econyl) and 22% Elastane.

Repreve & Econyl
Repreve is a recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastics like water bottles, perfect for apparel, activewear, and accessories. Read more at https://repreve.com/

Econyl is a recycled nylon made from ocean-bound fishing nets, fabric scraps, and other nylon waste, ideal for swimwear and technical fabrics. Read more at https://econyl.aquafil.com/

Both reduce reliance on virgin materials and landfill waste, but Repreve focuses on repurposing plastic bottles, while Econyl tackles nylon waste, including ocean-bound materials.

Packaging
Our packaging is plastic-free, recycled, and recyclable, from kraft mailers to bioplastics.

Our kraft mailers are made from 100% recycled paper and are completely plastic-free and recyclable, making them a sustainable choice for shipping.

Our inner packaging is made from starch extracted from cassava root, this biodegradable plastic is a sustainable alternative to traditional plastics. It’s fully compostable under the right conditions.
